Strength of Schedule Teams
Here are the top 25 teams since 2002 ranked by strength of schedule
(SOS) faced. USC is at the top of the list having played on average the
toughest schedule in the nation over the past five years. Amazingly the
Trojans had won just over 90% of their games against this schedule. The
two losses this season so far lower that winning percentage to 88.5%.
The only teams to approach this level have been Oklahoma, Ohio State,
Texas, and LSU.

How does the list look of you ignore SOS and rank it in order of
winning percentage? USC still tops the list and Boise State is a close
second. However the SOS for Boise State is much lower while Ohio State,
Texas, Oklahoma, and LSU rise accordingly. No other Division I team has won over
80% of its games during this period.
